The boiler bottom ash discharge device is installed between the boiler bottom ash storage hopper and the steel band conveyor. The inlet of the discharge device is equipped with hydraulic crusher which can stop and crush the big size (more than 100mm) slag. The crusher is made up of grid, crushing head, casing, driving hydraulic cylinder, and camera monitoring system. The slag with size more than 100mm will fall on the grid for pre-cooling, and then will be crushed by the tooth-shape crushing head which can move horizontally in accordance with the control of the camera monitoring system. There is open-type shutoff gate at the outlet of the boiler bottom as storage hopper, which will be closed to store the slag in the hopper when the follow-up system needs maintenance. The shutoff gate and the hydraulic crusher have mechanical sealing which can meet the requirement of the X, Y, and Z direction thermal expansion of the boiler and can work safely and reliably under the slag discharge working condition.
